My cat was hit by a car last night and died. He was my cat that I begged and pleaded for and got without my parent’s approval when I was in the 5th grade. I know everyone says this- but he was the coolest cat in the world.
RIP Charlie. Thank you for all the cuddles, the head butts, the swats, the birds and rodents that you caught and left for me on the back porch because you thought I’d love them. You were a good boy. I’m gonna miss you. I think I will spread your ashes in a forest by our house because I know how much you loved to be out there. Thanks for choosing me as your human, and for 13 years of love.

Sorry to hear about your cat. I lost my childhood cat after 17 years and it was horrible.

I’m so sorry.
I lost my Siamese cat just after Christmas; she was my pride and joy. Now, I currently have a tabby cat with 4 beautiful kittens. The hardest part is going to be choosing which ones to keep (I don’t want to turn into an old cat lady!)

I came over to say “thanks” for visiting my site and this is such sad news to hear! As much as I whine about my cat, Gatsby, I would be so sad if I lost him. It’s really hard to lose a pet.. I hope you can take some time to just mourn the loss of Charlie.

That is just awful… I’m so sorry to hear about Charlie… He looks just like a cat I used to have named Batman, who coincidentally was killed by a car too (this was after he survived being shot by my parents hateful neighbor with a pellet gun).

I will always be baffled by how awful some people can be. 13 years of being such a good cat all ended in just one minute of someone being careless. I will never understand.

I am so sorry to hear about your cat! My pets have always been like a part of my family so anytime we lose one it’s a sad day. I had a black cat growing up and he was my best friend. If you put your finger in his paw he would curl it around you finger and stay that way for a long time-just as if he was holding my “hand.” He too got run over and he was only 4.
