haha! no yelling would not be good. and I'm trying to be better about checking my frustration at the door. when I leave it's time to relax and I need to get better at that!

Yelling seems to work for me, but it's easier to do that with kids than with a boss. I guess I don't recommend this method. I'm a bit out of touch and my previous boss had the spine of a jellyfish so work was fairly easy.

Not to get all "Fight Club" on you, but you are not your job. I know that you spend 40+ hours of your week there, so it's a pretty significant chunk of your time, but you can't keep yourself in a position to let your job define your happiness. You do what you can to work toward the company and the company's clients' success during your 40+ hours, but let it go after 6.

Not trying to sound flip -- this is something I've had to work through myself, having worked in marketing in one form or another for the better part of 10 years. It takes time. And sometimes motivational posters.
