People who tout her “realness” as part of her appeal have GOT to be kidding! Was there anything real about her performance last night? Other than we are going to be REAL screwed if she and McCain get into the White House. Don’t flirt with me. Certainly don’t wink at me! And you know what? When grading my students’ papers and presentations I deduct points for not using cliches, jargon, and informal language. Palin, your speech would not have received a passing grade in my class.

Get some speech lessons and stop speaking to people like they are 5 years old, “you betcha!” “Goshdoggit.”

Aren’t the people who say “she’s just like us! offended that she’s talking down to them. She implies that they are too stupid to understand professional, straight to the point, clear cut answers. I find this “Aw, shucks!” mentality highly offensive. The American people are not children! If we send this horrible duo to the White House, we should be sent to our foreclosed homes without any supper.

Biden has done an excellent job of rebutting everything Palin has said.

He even pointed out some of her lies. But for some reason, that’s not resonating with some people. You know what is? Stories about soccer moms. You would think people used to being around children and people who display childlike and immature behaviors would be able to tell when someone is lying or has something to hide.
but if you actually listen to what she says she doesn’t actually say ANYTHING!

I would respond to that but I’m a maverick and I don’t have to do answer anything that’s not on my cheat sheet. And I know that there’s no follow up question so I’m going to continue to obfuscate my answers.

She uses her family as a crutch AND as a platform. What a crock of shit. She tries so hard to have the appeal of the mom thing.
